CARRABASSETT VALLEY — Members from the Insurance Association of Greater Houlton (IAGH) traveled to Sugarloaf, Oct. 3 to attend the state meeting of International Association of Insurance Professionals.
Members in attendance were IAGH President and member of State Minutes Committee Julie Bradstreet; IAGH Secretary and State Page Jennifer Perreault; Regional Membership Council Chair Elect and State Awards Chair Member Stacey Perry; IAGH Alternate Officer and Insurance Scholarship foundation of America Representative Dawn Halkyard; State Page and Teller April Nesbitt; State Audit Committee member Brittani Suitter; State Minutes committee member Ginger Campbell; and IAGH member Mary Jane Cleary.
Members participated in business meetings, a scholarship ceremony, and awards ceremony for the state level, as well as assisting their prospective committees.
Both the Association and many of its individual members were recognized for their accomplishments in the industry for the 2014 year. IAGH was awarded the Silver Bowl for Membership Retention. Members Brittany Grass and Jennifer Perreault were awarded $200 Maine Council Scholarships. Member Mary Jane Cleary was awarded Insurance Professional of the Year, as well as Client Service Professional of the Year. Member Stacey Perry was awarded Maine Council Member of the Year, as well as being elected as Maine Council Membership Chair for the 2015 term.
The Insurance Association of Greater Houlton is a local branch of the International Association of Insurance Professionals (IAIP). IAIP serves its members by providing professional education, an environment in which to build business alliances, and the opportunity to make connections with people of differing career paths and levels of experience within the insurance industry.
