A Craft Fair will take place at Easton Elementary School from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6.
They have over 40 crafters and vendors, including: Pampered Chef, Dove Chocolate, Scentsy, wooden plaques, honey, Mary Kay, primitive items, homemade goods, Pink Zebra, Tupperware, jewelry, Miche, and much more! There is a large door prize, just show up and enter your name. Admissions is free; all money raised by the vendor fee goes to the Autism Support Group in our area.
Planetarium presents ‘The Christmas Star’
On Saturday, Dec. 6, at 1 p.m. (2 p.m. Atlantic), enjoy a warm, holiday-enhancing investigation of Christmas traditions in general, and the “Star” of Bethlehem in particular. What really occurred in the ancient skies over Bethlehem? Make your reservation today by calling 488-5451 or emailing info@francismalcolmsciencecenter.com to learn more at the Francis Malcolm Science Center on Route 1A. The cost is adults $3.50, seniors and students $1.50, members free.
PTO Christmas Bazaar
The EPCO will hold a Christmas Bazaar on Wednesday, Dec. 17, for Easton Elementary students to purchase gift items for family members at the bargain price of $1 each. They are asking for donations of items that are new or gently used that would be appropriate for children, parents and grandparents. We are still in need of gift bags (any occasion) and tissue paper for wrapping. If you have any questions or concerns, contact the PTO at pto@eastonschools.org, on their Facebook page or call the elementary school at 488-7701.
Kiwanis meetings
The Kiwanis Club of Easton meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month from 6-7 p.m. at the Odd Fellows Hall; everyone is welcome to attend. Dinner provided for a small fee. Please plan to join them.
Benefit supper
There will be a benefit spaghetti supper held at Easton Elementary School on Saturday, Dec. 13, from 4-7 p.m. for Matthew Shaw, 23, of Mars Hill. Matthew fell three stories, forcing him to try and stabilize himself. He suffered laceration to his spleen, a shattered L3 vertebrate and a fractured pelvis.He also shattered both of his wrists. Please mark your calendars for this event. If you would like to donate an item for the live auction that will happen in conjunction with the dinner, please contact Hillary Hallett.

Wednesday, Dec. 3 — After-school crafts at the Hall from 3-4:15 p.m.
Thursday, Dec. 4 — Lego Day at the Hall from 3-4:15 p.m.
Friday Dec. 5 — Area on Aging starting at 11 a.m. sharp in the recreation room at the Manor. The topic will be “Healthy Holiday Ideas: Recipes & Gifts.”
Monday, Dec. 8 — Senior Nutrition at the Manor starting at 11 a.m. The cost is $3.
After-school cooking at the Hall until 4:15 p.m. Open to grades 1 and up.
Tuesday, Dec. 9 — Movie Day after school at the Hall until 4:15 p.m.
Wednesday, Dec. 10 — After-school crafts at the Hall from 3-4:15 p.m.
