    CLERMONT, FL & PORTAGE LAKE, ME – Alice Pinette, age 83, went to meet her Savior on November 12, 2014, at Clermont, FL. She was born March 9, 1931, in Knoxville, TN, the daughter of Joe and Helen Jones. 
    Alice served our country in the U.S. Army as a nurse. She also served her country with her intelligence by working at The National Security Agency until she retired. She also loved volunteering for the local Sheriff Department and local V.F.W. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary in Maine. She also taught many types of crafts. Alice loved her summers in Portage.
    Preceding her in death were her parents, Joe and Helen Jones; her husband, Hanford (Sonny) Pinette; two sons, Charles David and Ronald Leo Pinette; and a brother, Gerald Jones.
    Surviving are a daughter, Cathy Noh and husband; younger brother, Joe Jones Jr. and wife; her grandchildren, Jacob, Angie, Bryan, Theresa, Michelle and Philip; 15 great-grandchildren; and many cousins.
