CHANDLER, Helen G., 95, PRESQUE ISLE, November 27, 2014. A graveside service will be held in the month of May 2015 at Castle Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.
PRESQUE ISLE – Helen G. Chandler, 95, a beloved mother and grandmother, passed away Thursday, Nov. 27, 2014, at her residence in Presque Isle. She was born on June 20, 1919, in Mapleton, the daughter of Eldon and Hester (Sloat) Webber.
She and her husband, Raymond Chandler, owned a potato farm for many years, and then spent 10 years in Florida.
Helen is survived by two daughters and their husbands: Anita and George Buie of Brewer, and Debra and Stan Rediker of Old Town; four grandchildren: Karen Bunting and her husband, Tim, of Brazil, Myron Buie, and Angie and Heidi Rediker; seven great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond in 2000; a son, Roland; and a granddaughter, Cherilyn Buie in 2007.
