    Smith, Kenneth, 63, November 29, 2014.  Funeral services will be held today, December 3, at 10 a.m. at Bowers Funeral Home, Houlton.  Interment to be held in the Littleton Cemetery.  Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home, Houlton.

    LITTLETON – Kenneth Smith, 63, of Littleton, died Nov. 29, 2014 in Presque Isle. He was born Aug. 10, 1951, in Cushing, Oklahoma, the son of Peter A. and Grace (Strong) Smith.
    Ken worked for the D.O.T. for 29 years and was a charter member of the North Country Cruisers. He looked forward to going to car shows, cruising with the gang and his yearly cruises to Saco, meeting many lifelong friends on these cruises. He loved driving his ‘72 Chevelle and his ‘65 Impala.
    Ken is survived by his wife of 44 1/2 years, Joyce (Suitter) Smith of Littleton; two sons, Chris and Sonia of Hodgdon and Alan of Littleton; one daughter, Jennie of Littleton. He was very proud of his grandsons, #1 Levi and #2 Cordel. He is also survived by one brother, Gary and Kerry of Houlton; five sisters, Carolyn Lynds of Monticello, Shirley Smith and Omar of Arizona, Yvonne of Hodgdon, Pearl Smith of Linneus and Linda and Junior Polchies of Princeton; also many nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one sister, Gloria Conners; a brother, Carl; a nephew, Thomas and a great-niece, C.J. Smith.
    Friends called 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton, where a funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Carl DeMerchant officiating. Interment will be in the Littleton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cruisin For Kids, C/O Bowers Funeral Home, P.O. Box 579, Houlton, ME 04730.
