The sound of security
To the editor:
Just a great big thank you to our Presque Isle Highway Department for the excellent job they do on our streets and roads. Plowing, salting, plowing, salting on and on throughout the winter months.
Some people get disturbed when the plow/salt truck wakes them up early in the morning. I don’t, I tell my wife “there goes the plow again.” What a great feeling knowing it is safe on the street in case a fire truck or ambulance has to get through.
Yes, plow crews you do a great job keeping our streets safe. Have a great winter. Just plow and salt, plow and salt. By the way how much snow can a snowplow plow?
