Hannaford Supermarkets hosted a grand opening in its Houlton store on Saturday to celebrate the inclusion of the former Shop ‘n Save store into the Hannaford family. Hannaford purchased the Houlton and Caribou stores in early November. Giveaways, coupons and the chance to enter
a sweepstakes where the grand prize was $1,000 in groceries were offered, as was a community lunch with proceeds going to Catholic Charities of Maine.
