PRESQUE ISLE – Kyle Robert Russell, 50, died unexpectedly at his home on Dec. 29, 2014. He was born on June 15, 1964, in Lincoln, the son of Juanita Russell and the late Clyde Russell.
Kyle used to work at and owned a carpentry business, worked in the retail business and in a manufacturing company in New Hampshire. In the most recent years, he was employed as a long haul truck driver. Kyle was an avid sportsman and loved hunting and fishing. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He had a big heart and was known for his generosity and his willingness to share whatever he had with anyone who was in need. He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived his mother of Haynesville; his wife of 19 years, Tammy (McKay) McSweeney Russell of Presque Isle; two daughters, Shawna and Jennifer; three stepchildren, Joshua and Jasmin McSweeney of Presque Isle, and Tenille Nason of Houlton; five sisters: Deborah L. Russell of Houlton, Kelli Jo Russell of Bass Harbor, Teresa McNinch and her husband of Littleton, Loralei Russell and Suzette Lord of Houlton; two brothers, Jarret Russell of Hodgdon and Kurt A. Russell of Haynesville; a number of grandchildren whom he loved and who loved and knew him as their “Grampy Kyle”, Braydon, Landon and Haydon of Caribou, Abram and Elizabeth Nason of Houlton, Jason Wilcox and Olivia Sherman of Presque Isle.
Funeral services were held 2 p.m., Saturday, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, with Pastor Sue Brown officiating.
