Alice E. (Snow) Robinson

     ROBINSON, Alice E. (Snow), 90, MASARDIS, January 10, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, January 17, at the Funeral Home. Spring interment will be at Masardis Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle. 

    MASARDIS – Alice E. (Snow) Robinson, 90, passed away peacefully January 10, 2015, at her home on Sterling Ridge, where she was born, raised, nurtured her family, and was proud to call home her entire life. She was born on June 25, 1924, in Masardis, the daughter of Bennie and Leola (Graham) Snow. She was the last of the older generation that lived on Sterling Ridge. She graduated from Ashland High School in 1942.
    Alice devoted her life to her husband and family. She took care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren whenever she was needed. She was an avid gardener, both of vegetables and flowers. Alice and Harold enjoyed many trips together, especially to the coast of Maine.
    She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Harold, on Sept. 23, 2009; two younger brothers, Granville in 1926 and Ansel Gerald Snow in February 2012.
    She is survived by two daughters, Hallie McKee of Ashland, and her son, Jason Bartlett, and his wife, Jess, of West Chapman, and Joan Whipple and her husband, Donald, of Masardis and their children, Dawn and Phil Roberts of Presque Isle, Robbin Whipple and Pam Bennett of Ashland; great-grandchildren, Katharine Putnam and her husband, Kord, Amanda and Hunter Whipple, Blake Vincent and Amelia Bartlett.
    Thank you, Judy, for your dedicated and diligent companionship you shared with Alice.
    Relatives and friends may call 2-3 p.m., Saturday, January 17, 2015, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church Street, Presque Isle, where funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., with Dr. Rev.
