    PT Madeline IrishHODGDON – Madeline M. Irish, 89, died January 7, 2015, in Hodgdon. She was born March 22, 1925, in Linneus, the daughter of John and Blanche (Tarr) McGary.
    Madeline loved her family – the more that were gathered around the happier she was. She loved playing cards, crocheting and cooking.
    She is survived by her daughters, Barbara (Mackie) Brewer of Linneus, Mary Irish, Sharon MacDonald and John Wade, all of Hodgdon, Debora Burtt (Steve) of Linneus, Cindy Crandall (Kermit) of Hodgdon, Pam Hannigan (Wayne) of Houlton, Peggy Cleary of Cary, Wanda Landry of Amity, Kelly Irish of Hodgdon; 19 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Fern Bubar of Houlton, Margaret Siltz of Linneus, Carl McGary (Cheryl) of Houlton; special sister-in-law, Norma McGary of Houlton. She was predeceased by her husband, Milo; sisters, Naxine Cummings and Yvonne Scott; brothers, Kelsey McGary, Lloyd McGary, Horace McGary and John McGary; sons-in-law, Reggie Langen, Ambrose MacDougall, John Landry, and John Cleary.
