STOCKHOLM — Eight juveniles were summoned for illegal possession of alcohol by a minor after Maine State Troopers busted a party in Stockholm over the weekend.

Maine State Police Sgt. Brian Harris did not give out the location of the party Sunday or the ages of the juveniles who attended but said that one was charged with providing the youth with alcohol.
Harris said that around 2 a.m. on Saturday, troopers Corey Hafford and Dennis Quint located an underage drinking party in Stockholm. After an investigation, troopers issued eight juveniles a summons for illegal possession of alcohol by a minor and one male juvenile a summons for providing a place for minors to consume alcohol.
Court dates for all are pending, he said Sunday.
