The Presque Isle Wildcats shut out Houlton-Hodgdon last Wednesday for their second win of the season, both coming over the Blackhawks.

Joe Patenaude and Dan Boucher each scored two goals in the 6-0 victory at the Millar Civic Center in Houlton.
Jack Andrus had his first high school goal and Reece McDougall also scored for the Wildcats, while Alex Michaud added two assists.
Houlton goalie Noah Blake faced 30 shots and Presque Isle’s Jillian Flynn turned away all 11 she faced in the victory.
Head coach Carl Flynn has had to reshuffle the team’s lineup due to some recent suspensions and was happy with the results.
“We have moved a lot of people around and I thought we settled into our new positions well,” Flynn said.
The Wildcats were home for their other two matches, with Hampden winning 2-1 on Friday and John Bapst taking a 5-2 victory Monday.
Cooper Madore scored in the second period off assists from McDougall and Michaud for the lone goal against the Broncos. Patenaude and Michaud both tallied against the Crusaders. Jillian Flynn was the goalkeeper in both contests, facing 21 shots against Hampden and 29 against John Bapst.
Coach Flynn said untimely penalties contributed to the latest loss.
Presque Isle, now 2-8-1 overall, returns to the ice Friday and Saturday with road matches against Gardiner and Messalonskee.
