     DEMPSEY, Wilma J. Cambridge, 85, PRESQUE ISLE, January 25, 2015. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, January 31, at Grant Memorial United Methodist Church, Presque Isle. Arrangements are under the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle. 

    PRESQUE ISLE – Wilma J. Cambridge-Dempsey, 85, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2015, in the hospice suite at The Aroostook Medical Center. Wilma was born June 13, 1929, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Herbert G. and Abbie E. (Perry) Sprague.
    Wilma was loved dearly by her family and friends. In her younger years, she was employed by the Maine Mutual Group of Insurance Companies, leaving that employment to raise her children. She later was employed for many years by Dead River Company. Wilma’s sense of humor and love of jokes lasted until her final days. Wilma was a lifelong member of the Grant Memorial United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir, a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority, and the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 88. She enjoyed singing with the Caribou Choral Society as well.
    She is survived by son, David Cambridge and wife, Carla, of Chapman and daughter, Susan Dick of Mapleton; grandchildren, Chelsae (Cambridge) Guerrette and husband, Wilfred, of Mapleton, Whitney (Dick) Jimmo and husband, Patrick, of Ashland, Madison Dick and Marshall Dick, of Mapleton. Wilma is also survived by great-grandchildren, Asher Guerrette, Ryan Jimmo and Nicole Jimmo; special sisters-in-law, Cathy Jimmo and Jo Sprague; and several nieces and nephews.
    Wilma was predeceased by her parents; husband, Clarence E. Cambridge; second husband, Malcolm Dempsey; brothers, Russell Sprague and Gary Sprague.
    The family extends special thanks to those who cared for Wilma at The Aroostook Medical Center and Presque Isle Rehab and Nursing Center.
    A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, January 31, 2015, at Grant Memorial United Methodist Church, 79 Fleetwood St., Presque Isle, with Pastor Christopher Dare officiating. Interment will be held in the spring at Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wilma’s memory to Aroostook House of Comfort, P.O.
