    CARIBOU – Jacquelyn Kay Aucoin, died February 5, 2015. Jackie passed away after a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Ralph L. Smith and Meta Golding. 
    She was predeceased by her sister, Roberta Whitten; two brothers, Dick Powell and Jim Smith. She leaves behind her sons, Steve and wife Kathy Aucoin, Michael and wife Vickie Aucoin; her companion of 55 years, Nate Johnson;  granddaughters, Misty Aucoin and Kaley Aucoin; great- granddaughter, Jada Aucoin; several nieces and nephews;   as well as her best friend, her dog Zoe.
    Jackie worked for the Caribou IGA for 40 years as the produce manager. After she retired, she enjoyed working in her flower gardens and going for rides in the woods looking for moose and other wildlife.
    Jackie was always a caregiver making sure everyone was fed and taken care of.  She was a wonderful mother always putting her family first. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. 
    At her request, there will be no services.  Donations can be made to the Presque Isle animal shelter in her name.
