Monticello, ME & St. andrews, n.b. – Norma Elaine Lothrop Smith died on February 3, 2015, age 90. Norma was born in Monticello, on March 17, 1924, to Ronald and Hazel Lothrop.
After the war she attended teachers college then taught elementary school in Monticello, Bar Harbor, and Long Island, New York. She retired and returned to Monticello in 1979 where she lived until moving to Houlton in 1993 where she made many good friends and enjoyed her retirement years. Norma recently moved to St Andrews, New Brunswick to be with her family. Norma will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was kind and generous to many in her life, and we wish her all the love in the world.
