BERRY, Charlee Jane, February 10, 2015. Arrangements by Brookings-Smith Funeral Home, Bangor. Funeral Service will be held Feb. 21, 10 a.m.
HERMON – Charlee Jane Berry, infant daughter of Rachel and Joshua Berry, was born February 10, 2015, at 1:06 p.m., along with her identical twin sister, Saylor. Though Saylor arrived kicking and screaming, Charlee came to us already peacefully asleep. The passing of Charlee shocked everyone, including the medical professionals, as she was the bigger, stronger and feistier of the two during the 35-week pregnancy. The family takes solace in knowing Charlee was looking out for her little sister the whole way and once she knew Saylor was going to be safe, she could then head back to heaven where she came from.
She will be missed by her loving parents; her big brother, Russell James; her sister, Saylor Grace; her mémé, Cindy Nightingale and grandfather, Fred Nightingale; her great-grandparents, Cliff and Nancy Pottle; her great-grandmother, Dorothy Nightingale; her auntie, “Pirate” Samantha Nightingale and uncle, Nick Varney, along with cousin Leavitt; her grandparents, “Grampy and Grammy” Jim and Martha Berry; uncle, Sebas; auntie, “Ya Ya” Samantha Berry Richardson and uncle, Nate Richardson, along with cousins Wesley, Calvin and Josephine; and an amazing amount of extended family as well.
The family would like to thank Dr. Paul Smith and his team at Bangor OB/GYN and Eastern Maine Medical Center for their effort and dedication.
A funeral service for Charlee will be held 10 a.m., February 21, 2015, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.BrookingsSmith.com.
