SMYRNA, Maine — On Monday morning Aroostook County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a two-vehicle crash on the Smyrna Center Road in Smyrna.
Leonard Keyes, 47, of Smyrna, was traveling west in near-zero visibility when he encountered a snow drift. Coming in the other direction, at the same time, was 55-year-old James Lincoln of Houlton. Lincoln was driving a Houlton Farms Dairy truck. The driver’s side of Keyes’ 2008 Ford F-150 collided with the side of the Houlton Farms Dairy Truck.
Luckily, no one was injured. According to Aroostook County Sheriff Darrel Crandall, there was about $2,000 damage to Keyes’ vehicle and about $10,000 to the milk truck. All of those involved were wearing seatbelts.
Deputy Sheriff Vance Palmer is investigating the crash.
