CARIBOU, Maine — The rosters for the 25th annual Aroostook County All-Star High School Basketball Classic have been announced.
The teams feature girls and boys from the senior class of 2015, representing 17 Aroostook County schools. The games will be held on Thursday, March 5 at Caribou High School.
Selected for the girls are Sophie Theriault from Ashland; Bria Judd from Caribou; Allison McEwen and Chelsea Winiarski from East Grand; Kylee Carter, Hannah Ferris and Kalie Ward from Easton; Meg Jellison from Fort Fairfield; Ellyzabeth Bencivenga from Limestone; Hannah Graham, Krystal Kingsbury and Emma Kinney from Presque Isle; Cassidy Lyons and Kennedi Smith from Southern Aroostook; Felisha Bouchard, Emily Dumond and Courtney Parent from Van Buren; Joan Overman and Mackenzie Worcester from Washburn; and Tyra Michaud and Vanessa Pelletier from Wisdom.
Selected for the boys are Cody Blair from Ashland; Colby Holdsworth and Dayne Savage from Caribou; Chandler Brewer from Central Aroostook; Nick Clark, Cody Halvorson and Connor Burtt from Easton; Hunter Beaulieu, Johnny Theriault and Robbie Watson from Fort Fairfield; Matt Daigle from Fort Kent; Devin Quint from Hodgdon; Kyle Bouchard and Jake Drew from Houlton; Todd Young from Katahdin; Cedric Gendreau from Madawaska; Ben Buckley from Presque Isle; Cameron Landry from Southern Aroostook; Justin Sytulek from Van Buren; Cameron Bragg, Kenny Irving, and Noah Farley from Washburn; and Dominic Roy from Wisdom.
The girls’ coaches are Ron Ericson and Tom Berry. Serving as boys’ coaches are Steve Shaw and Phil Faulkner.
The girls’ game begins at 5:30 p.m., and the boys’ game follows at 7 p.m. at the CHS gymnasium. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students. All proceeds benefit the Aroostook League Scholar Athletes Scholarship Program.
The evening will also feature a half-court shot promotion sponsored by County Physical Therapy and halftime entertainment from The Maine Dance Academy.
