Books Are Fun is once again setting up in the lobby of Houlton Regional Hospital from March 18-19 and the event is open to the greater Houlton community.
“We would like to invite everyone in the surrounding area to come join us for another unique shopping experience,” said Mike Tuttle, Books Are Fun representative. Tuttle’s wife, Carolyn, will also be on hand to answer questions about products and to ring up sales.
Merchandise ranges from books, toys, home décor to items seen on television and the even more unique products just in time for Easter. Ten percent of the net sales go back to the local hospital.
“We are not so concerned about profit,” said Tuttle. “We are more concerned about how we can help the communities we go to.”
Merchandise will line the full length of Houlton Regional Hospital’s hallway. Books Are Fun sales will begin Thursday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“We’re looking forward to being back in Houlton with the awesome staff at Houlton Regional and the wonderful people that make up this great town,” said Tuttle.
