The Caribou Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is pleased to announce the recipients of recognition at the 2015 Annual Recognition Dinner taking place on April 16, 2015 at the Caribou Inn & Convention Center:

• Special Business Recognition: The Aroostook Republican, Reno’s Family Restaurant, Russell’s Motel, County Sports Inc. and Shear Precision.
• Business of the Year: Goughan’s Berry Farm.
• Community Spirit Award: Echoes Magazine, Kathryn Olmstead.
• Community Revitalization Award: The Thursdays on Sweden Committee.
• Citizen of the Year: Brian Thompson.
• Lifetime Achievement Award: William “Bill” Thomas.
We feel that this is a fine slate of awards and each deserves the recognition of our community citizens. Tickets are on sale now for the Annual Recognition Dinner. Tickets are available at the Chamber Office in the Nylander Museum for $30 per person prior to the event and will be $35 at the door. You can reserve a table of eight for $210 and save the price of one ticket.
Social Hour will begin at 5 pm, the dinner starts at 6 and award presentations will start at 6:45. At the conclusion of the awards, a special (and short) time of fun will commence called, “Let’s Make a Deal.” It’s going to be a great time.
I just signed up our first City-Wide Yard Sale participant. And so it begins. Don’t wait, you will forget! Stop by and sign up today.
    Have a great week, everyone.
