We played Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, and we played Grand Theft Auto VI. Then mom came to get me. We went to Napoli’s for lunch. After lunch I went to my cousin Caiah’s house. At 6:00 I got up. I pulled on the shirt that my friend got me. I hopped into my navy blue jeans. Then I skedaddled downstairs. Mom said, “There is no school.” “What? I got dressed for nothing?” I asked. “Sure, Honey,” exclaimed Mom. Quick as a flash I zoomed upstairs and put on my gray and black ski clothes with the thumbholes. I hopped in the large navy blue truck, and we drove off to Big Rock Mountain. Before we went there we went to Tim Horton’s. Finally we were at Big Rock Mountain. I squeezed into ski boots and stepped into my skis. I walked over to the chair lift and hopped on with my family. When we were at the top I went with Daddy. Anna went with Mommy. Then we went down the hill. I felt like the hill was a sheep and I was shearing the sheep. That is how fast I was going. When I got to the bottom Mom asked, “Are you hungry?” “I am starving.” “Where do you want to go?” Mom asked. “Napoli’s,” I said. We got in the truck and drove off. When we got there I ordered spaghetti with garlic knots. When the food came I gobbled it up. Then we decided to go home. Five minutes later we were home. I hopped out of the truck and ran inside. “I want to watch a movie,” I said. We watched Freaky Friday. It was a little scary. After the movie it was suppertime. I had mac and cheese. I went upstairs and went to bed. My day was fantastic.

One day my dad walked in and told me it was a snow day. When I heard that I cried and crawled back in bed sadly. A few minutes later I jogged into the kitchen and had apple juice and pancakes. My mom yelled, “Your cousins will be here soon!” When I heard they were coming I rushed to the door and got on my new pink snowsuit. I went in the rusty old garage and got out snowshoes and colorful sleds so we could play outside together. Finally they got here. When they did I jogged quickly inside and hid. When they stepped in I stood and said, “Hi!” I ran to them and kissed them. I told them, “Don’t take your snow clothes off. I prepared fun things outside.” We went outside and built a huge snow fort and had a snowball fight inside it. Later my cousins and I went to the top of the fort. It was freezing, but there was a perfect view of Teague Park. When we slid down we went extremely fast! We all landed in a huge pile of snow! The last thing we did outside was snowshoeing. When we went inside it was snack time. Everyone chose hot chocolate with marshmallows in them and Christmas cookies that had red, green, and blue frosting. They were delicious! After we went downstairs to play video games. First we played Trouble. May my oldest cousin won. Next we played video games. Maya played de Blob on my DS. Mitchel played on his iPod, and I played Lego Batman on the Xbox. Soon it was time for them to leave. Before they left we had orange juice and sub sandwiches for supper. It was a terrific day. We watched The Lion King. I had a snack, brushed my hair, brushed my teeth, and washed my face. I went to bed. My mom tucked me in my warm and cozy bed. I had a marvelous day!
