I would like to give you information about snowy owls.
I picked owls because they are very nice birds. They are beautiful.
The snowy owl is a very large bird. You can find them in Canada, New York, New England and Maine. Snowy owls are white. Some of their feathers have a few black stripes. They have a white face with big yellow eyes. Snowy owls have big black claws and feathered legs. Male owls get whiter when they get older. The owls are 20 to 28 inches tall.
The snowy owls can get their food easily. They can sneak up on other animals because of their fluffy feathers. They can go very silent. They can turn their heads all the way around. They eat squirrels, rats, and mice. Snowy owls have very good eyes. They also have very good hearing. Snowy owls are active during the day.
I hope you can see a snowy owl.
I found my snowy owl facts on Enchanted Learning and All About Birds websites.
