We recycle. We reuse paper. We go to the igloos. We work in the cafeteria. We wear Green Team shirts.
Years ago, they used to use plastic forks and spoons at school and one day Mrs. Theriault and her class decided it was better to use regular silverware. Plastic is just thrown away and it fills the landfill. Factories that make it also pollute our air. This is not good. We can use silverware now because we stay in the lunchroom and make sure no one throws it away. If they forget, we grab it. That is when the Green Team started and it still goes on and on.

We want to help save the world from pollution. People are throwing away too much garbage and we want them to recycle it. They are running out of places on the earth to put it and now they are throwing it in the ocean! They think it is ok but it’s not because it’s polluting the water and killing the animals.
We are the Green team and it is not only us that can help save wildlife and the trees but you can too. We hope other schools recycle!
