As cold as some of our winter days were, all signs are pointing to an incredibly hot summer, with numerous days exceeding 100 degrees, along with suffocating humidity. It is worth noting that Caribou has never had a 100-degree day since records began in 1939. This summer it looks like a good bet that we’ll have at least 15 to 20 of them.
There is even a decent shot that some of the hot days will exceed an astonishing 110 degrees. The first 100-degree day could come as early as the first few days of May. Make sure to let your friends and family know about this summer forecast, but before you do, do check the date on this edition of the paper.
