The lucky woman crowned was Lori Geroulo-White of Saco. She and her husband, Shawn, have been married for 13 years and have two children, Isabella and Benjamin.
Geroulo-White is a 37-year-old practice manager in the medical field. Her platform is suicide prevention and awareness, in memory of her father. She grew up in Easton, where she met her husband. Geroulo-White will spend her reign making appearances around the state and preparing to compete in the Mrs. America Pageant, which will be held in September.
She is grateful for the amazing opportunity and is honored to be Mrs. Maine America 2015. She is excited to represent such a wonderful state that she was born and raised in.
Also competing in the Mrs. Maine America pageant was Melinda Lin Corey, Mrs. Presque Isle.
She has been married to her husband, Brian, for nine years. They have three children: Alice, 7, Elizabeth, 5, and Jonathan, 20 months.
“It was a wonderful experience to meet other married women from all over Maine with families of their own who have similar goals,” said Corey. “Many lasting friendships were formed.”
The Mrs. America Pageant is the largest beauty pageant of its kind and celebrates its 39th year as the premiere pageant for married women.
