The Women’s League Championship game was once again dominated by The Force squad, as they avenged their only loss of the season to Alley Oops, 62-32.

Records are made to be broken and the Women’s League Championship game was no different as The Force notched their first championship title. The team also set the season record for most threes made in single game with eight. Olivia McNally also matched her teammate, Sarah Riopel’s record of four 3 pointers made in a single game by an individual player.
The Force got out to an early start and led wire to wire with no threat of a close game as the Alley Oops were forced to play without their top player, due to the nasty spring weather.
The Force took the early lead and led by 22-11, after three different players connected from long range. Alley Oops stepped it up in the second half scoring twice as many points, but The Force team refused to let up and ended the season with a bang, scoring 40 points alone in a half, which was a league record.
McNally proved to be the Most Outstanding Player in the Women’s League finishing with a game high 18 points four rebounds, five assists and three steals and Riopel netted 16 points. Darby Toth, playing in just her second game, contributed nine points, while Erika Jackett finished with a solid seven points. Tanika Toby and Jennie Schools each notched six points.
For the Alley Oops, Jasmine Rockwell had another astonishing game finishing with a season high 15 points and eight rebounds, despite the loss. Desiree Dow and Sarah Williams each added five points apiece.
