The Ark Animal Sanctuary Memorial Art Show/Supper benefits held at The Horn on March 20 and The Elks Lodge on April 4 were a huge success.
Ark officials expressed thanks to the artists from around the world and United States who donated original works of art in the form of portraits of each of the 16 cats who perished in the sanctuary fire in March 2014. The fundraisers together raised more than $2,000 toward the Ark’s rebuilding campaign. The portraits will eventually grace the walls of the new sanctuary.
