    RIVERSIDE, CA & EASTON, ME – Helen Barnes Vaughn died April 9, 2015, at her home in Riverside, CA. She was born October 14, 1933, in Easton, to Francis and Marion Barnes.
    Helen graduated from Easton High School. She resided in Riverside where she worked in retail and owned and operated a Gift Shop in Loma Linda until retirement. Helen took pride in her back yard fruit trees, her sports car and pets.
    Helen is survived by her son, Gerald Averill; daughter, Jane and Dale Hearn; grandsons: Jeremy and wife, Jennie Van Cleaves, and their sons, Jack and John, and Christopher Hearn and his daughter, Madison; brother, Frederick and Jill Barnes and Amy of Easton; nephew, Jeff Orrell; niece, Goldy Boyer and Taylor and  Dillion.
    Helen was predeceased by her parents; husbands, Roger Averill and John Vaughn; and a brother, John Barnes.
    A graveside service was held April 15 at Olivewood Memorial Park, Riverside, CA.
