Striving to achieve the four pillars

Every member that is accepted into the National Honor Society (NHS) has to prove that they are scholarly, that they do service work, that they use good leadership skills, and that they have — and show — great character.
These are the four pillars of the NHS.
I am honored to be a member of the NHS Ashland Chapter. Being a member tells me that others have noticed my character, my service, my leadership skills, and my hard work in academics.
I believe everyone should strive to achieve the four NHS pillars, and the NHS organization encourages people to do just that.
