FALMOUTH — TD Bank has promoted Mark A. Winship to senior vice president/director in technology risk, regulatory and governance. Based in Falmouth, Winship will lead TD Bank’s specialized team of technology risk management professionals responsible for information security policies and standards, technology risk and control frameworks, technology risk reporting, and all aspects of mergers and acquisitions, regulatory and audit activities related to technology risk and information security for TD Bank Group.
Winship is an information security and technology risk management leader with 20 years of experience in financial services, IT consulting and technology organizations. He joined TD Bank in 2003 as a senior UNIX administrator and later served as an IT security architect, business technology risk manager and M&A program manager before his most recent position as senior manager in technology risk management & information security.
Winship holds distinction as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and an Associate of (ISC)2, the International Information System Security Certification Consortium, Inc.
A Gray resident, Winship is a 1997 graduate of Thomas College in Waterville. He is originally from Houlton, where he graduated from Houlton High School in 1993.
