Hello, everyone. Have a happy Easter? Although it is the third Sunday of Easter, we are still in the Easter season.
What happened to the Bingo players?

The snow is leaving us, so many are happy about that. The sun has been shining many days and it will be a few more before the snow all disappears.
We have a new tenant. Her name is Cherie Moulton. We hope she has an enjoyable stay here.
An item about angels: “On angels’ wings, love is spread, disappointment banished, hope enlarged, and happiness increased.”
It is tornado time in some of the Southern states. God bless all who live in this territory and keep them safe.
Speaking of safe, what about the floods in nearby Fort Kent? Pray God, no floods in this section of the County.
Our sympathy is extended to the families of Eva Pelletier and Mildred McIntosh, two well-known ladies in the community who died recently. They will be missed.
I had the pleasure of attending Volunteer Day at Gardiner Nursing Home Facility this past Friday. Several ladies from our church community as well as other volunteers attended. We were pleased to be entertained by a group of young students from the Houlton school.
First we had a light lunch topped with a frosted cake. Amy Hocking greeted everyone. Each volunteer took home a bag of goodies plus a portion of popcorn with the printing: “We don’t mean to ‘butter’ you up or sound “corny” when we say that all you do for us each day is ‘POP’ular all the way.”
Very nice and thanks for the invitation.
Bonnie Lukehart has a beautiful and colorful wreath on her door, one she made, I presume.
Finally, my Scripture reading for the week is: “Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures. And He said to them, ‘Thus it is written that the Christ would suffer and rise from the dead on the third day.’” (Luke 24:45-46)
Have a good week.
