WOODLAND – Donna P. Jones, 58, died unexpectedly April 18, 2015, at a Caribou hospital. She was born in Tacoma, Washington on August 2, 1956, the daughter of Joseph Patrick and Dorothy H. (Skipper) Sirois.
Donna was employed as the sales supervisor at J.C. Penney at the Aroostook Centre Mall for many years, a job she truly loved, as it gave her a chance to showcase her love of fashion and fashion trends, as well as being well dressed for all occasions. She was also the bookkeeper for Tech Electric.
She married Timothy Jones on May 12, 1979. Donna was an avid reader, especially Stephen King novels. She loved to spend time outdoors with her family, especially those times around the campfire. She also loved the water, spending time at the beach as well as listening to the loons around area ponds and lakes.
Surviving in addition to her husband of over 35 years, Tim of Woodland, are her mother, Dorothy of Calais; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Tracey and Travis Levesque of Woodland, Angela and Brad Pelletier of Lebanon, N.H., and Tonya Jones of Woodland; four sisters, Denise McLellan and Deborah Beaulieu, both of Presque Isle, Patricia Gilreath of Brunswick, GA, and Dawn Chick of Calais; her special grandchildren, Nick and Gage Levesque, Aubrey Pelletier, Zoey and Edric Jones; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Private family services will be held Thursday at the funeral home. Friends who wish to contribute in memory of Donna may do so to assist the family. www. mocklerfuneralhome.com.
