    BRIDGEWATER – Averill Fletcher, 78, passed away May 1, 2015, at Mercy Home in Eagle Lake. He was born on August 25, 1937, in Mars Hill, the son of Herman and Eva (York) Fletcher.
    He enjoyed his time hunting in the woods and fishing at his favorite fishing holes.
    Averill is survived by his nieces, Gloria Crawford of Mars Hill, and Brenda Dumnansky of Bristol, CT; and nephews, Richard Hoyt of Blaine, and Dennis Fletcher of Presque Isle.
    In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Melvin, Floyd, Carl and Adrian Fletcher; and sisters, Mabel Deschene and Juanita Hoyt.
