    HEMPHILL, Fanny Mae, 93, PRESQUE ISLE, April 29, 2015. There will be no funeral services at this time. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Arrangement are under the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.

    PRESQUE ISLE – Fanny Mae Hemphill, 93, passed away after a short illness on April 29, 2015, at The Aroostook Medical Center, Presque Isle. She was born January 19, 1922, in Easton, the daughter of Florence and Erlon Libby.
    She spent her early years in Easton and graduated from Easton High School. Fanny Mae was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be missed by all. She taught us all the true meaning of love and family. She had many hobbies and interests. She spent many years helping her husband, Frank, run their farm and later they traveled and explored, including trips to Alaska with their motorhome.
    Fanny Mae is survived by two sons, Judd Hemphill and his wife, Diane, and Jeff Hemphill and his wife, Anne, both of Presque Isle; two daughters, Sheila Kinney and husband, Don of Cranston, RI, and Karen Rittal and her husband, Jim of Orono; seven grandchildren, Eric Hemphill and his wife, Kelly, Greg Hemphill and his wife, Kim, all of Presque Isle, Chris Kinney and his wife, Kara of Newburyport, MA, Tim Kinney and his wife, Giuliana of Rum-ford, RI, Craig Hemphill and his wife, Michele, of Fort Fairfield, Leanne Hemphill Candura and her husband, Jeff of Bethel, and Aaron Rittal and his wife, Jennifer of Orono; 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
    She was predeceased by her loving husband of 62 years, Frank Roland Hemphill; and her brother, Judd Libby.
    The Hemphill family would like to thank the staff at Leisure Village and Hospice of Aroostook for their kindness, thoughtfulness and professionalism.
    There will be no funeral services at this time. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
