CARIBOU, Maine — CHS eleventh-graders took the stage April 15 for an evening of laughs and fun. Junior Exhibition night is a tradition of formal presentations by the upcoming graduating class.
Parents saw their kids march for the first time as they were ushered into the Caribou Performing Arts Center by their sophomore peers.
All five of the night’s performances were comedic in nature and “it was amazing what they were able to do,” Junior Exhibition coach Cherie Black said. “The event occurred the same day as the SAT, and the students were understandably tired from testing. However, they still shined during the exhibition. I’m in awe of them.”
Black said the highlight of the evening was the “awesome” speech by the junior class advisor James Mezynski, and the night was capped off with an award ceremony where each participant was honored.
“I’m incredibly proud of the work students did to accomplish their performances. Everyone helped out and were part of a community. It was a nice thing to see,” Black said.
