Workshops target college preparation
The Maine Educational Opportunity Center will host free workshops entitled Essentials of College Planning, for adults 19 and over, in both Presque Isle and Houlton during May.
Presque Isle’s sessions will be held at the Presque Isle CareerCenter, 66 Spruce St., on consecutive Wednesdays: May 13, 20 and 27, beginning at 9 a.m.
This interactive event outlines the four steps in the college process: admissions, financial aid, career planning and study skills. The workshop lasts approximately two to three hours.
