On May 6, the first Wednesday of the month, the Happy Losers held their weekly meeting.
The leader, Jackie Pratt, welcomed everyone and the Pledge and roll call followed.
After two months of some members being absent, 12 members weighed in and 10 attended the class. The person who lost the most weight for the week was Lois Green and runner-up was Frances McKenney. “Great job, ladies,” said Phil.
The person who lost the weight for the months of March and April was Jackie Pratt. Great job, Jackie.
Reports were given by the secretary and treasurer.
Riva Hawkes has returned to the group after an absence due to surgery. Glad she is recovering.
The leader led the program for the week. She gave an oral quiz which everyone enjoyed.
All are welcome to the group every Wednesday at the Congregational Church vestry in Island Falls. Weigh-ins are from 8-8:30 a.m. followed by the meeting.
