    CARIBOU – Bion L. Jose, 93, passed away May 10, 2015, at Caribou. He was born in Augusta on February 8, 1922, the son of the late Bion F. and Nellie (Stearns Lord) Jose.
    Mr. Jose was a graduate of Stevens High School in Rumford and served with the U.S. Navy during WW II. He married Irene Louise Wedberg March 6, 1943. Mr. Jose retired from the Civil Service, where he was employed as a refrigeration technician for many years. Bion loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf with his family and friends. He was also a private pilot.
    Surviving in addition to his wife of over 72 years, Irene of Caribou, are his son, Jeffrey A. Jose, his daughter and son-in-law, Judy Ann and Bryan Corrow, all of Caribou; four grandchildren, Eric Corrow  and wife, Robin, of South China, Leslie Stevens and husband, Aaron, of Pittsfield, Jennifer Dickinson and husband, Adam, and Emily Jose, all of Caribou; one great-grand-daughter, Laurel Louise Dickinson; one brother, Allen Jose of Virginia; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Jose was predeceased by a brother, Norman; a sister, Nellie Valente; and a daughter-in-law, Louise Jose.
