HOULTON – Christopher A. DeVoe, 31, Houlton, died May 2, 2015, in St. Albans. He was born November 20, 1983, in Houlton, the beloved son of Thomas DeVoe and Elisa Madore.
Chris enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his father, Thomas DeVoe of Standish; his mother, Elisa and her husband, Herman Madore of Houlton; one brother, Jonathan DeVoe of Mars Hill; and one sister, Jordyn Madore of Presque Isle. He is also survived by a step-grandmother, Sandra O’Neil of Presque Isle; and several aunts and uncles, Lana and Gene McGuire of Linneus, Dale DeVoe of Houlton, Fred DeVoe of Connecticut, Teresa, Tony, Leslie and David Begin, all of Houlton, and Meddie and Nancy Begin of Turner, Will Begin of N.H., Lisa and Scott Cray of Presque Isle, Starla and Chris Gilbert of Litchfield and Katina and Seth Knight of Florida. Chris was pre-deceased by his paternal grand-parents, Madeline and Wilfred DeVoe; maternal grandmother, Louise Begin; and step-grandfather, Herman Madore.
Friends called 12-1 p.m. Saturday, May 9 at the Houlton United Pentecostal Church, 136 Main St., Houlton, with a funeral service held at 1 p.m. with the Pastor Vernon Sixberry officiating. Interment was in the St. Mary’s Cemetery, Houlton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Houlton United Pentecostal Church, 136 Main St., Houlton, ME 04730.
