Things are in full “swing” at VaJoWa! All 18 holes are open for use with carts and our driving range is operational. The weekend was very busy and it was great to see old friends and some new faces as well!
The Pairs and Spares golfers met on Sunday for a “Guys vs. Gals” scramble on Sunday, May 17. The guys won by one stroke with a 38. The “Guys” were: Ola Tucker, John Porter and Ricky Bates. The “Gals” were Di Tucker, Deb Porter, April Bates and Jarice Kelley. Pairs and Spares golfers will meet this Sunday at 2 p.m.
Don’t forget to stop in or call to sign up for our Memorial Day Tournament honoring Joe Kelley. This four-person 18-hole scramble will be on Monday, May 25 with a shot gun start at 9 a.m. You can bring your own foursome or we will put you on a team. Entry fee is $10 per person.
Ladies’ Day Golf and Clinic will be starting on Tuesday, June 2. This free clinic will start at 9 a.m. and be followed by a varied golf scrambles, best ball, etcetera at 10 a.m. Twilight League starts on Tuesday, June 9, stop by the Pro Shop and sign up your team.
