PRESQUE ISLE — Graves’ Shop ‘n Save awarded a $1,000 education grant to Presque Isle High School May 4 for raising the most money through the Hannaford Helps Schools program.

RECEIVES GRANT — Graves’ Shop ‘n Save awarded a $1,000 education grant to Presque Isle High School for raising the most money through the Hannaford Helps Schools program. Under the terms of the program, which ran from Sept. 5-Dec. 5, 2014, shoppers could raise funds for local schools by purchasing participating products. There were more than 900 eligible items including Hannaford brand items and products to choose from.
“On behalf of Graves’ Shop ‘n Save, it gives me great pleasure to present this check to Presque Isle High School,” said Store Manager Donald Samiya. “Graves’ Shop ‘n Save is committed to improving the quality of life in the communities we serve and I can’t think of a better way to do so than by investing in our local schools.”
