Island Falls Senior Citizens met at the Municipal Building on May 21 with 18 members in attendance. After our traditional potluck luncheon, entertainment was provided by Rich Camire and his guitar.
This was followed by the business meeting, which was opened by Rich, our president. The annual scholarship was announced, and this year’s recipient will be Kylie Dunphy. After the meeting, we played several games of Bingo, with Mary Lawler as the big winner of the day.
Members present were: Ursula Levesque, Gladys Cornell, Donna Furrow, Verna Boone, Mary Lawler, Judy Botting, Donna Baker, Elie Peck, Rich Camire, Terry Dwyer, Jeanne Clements, Edith Dwyer, Mary Pipes, Helen Sherman, Gloria Noyes and new members, Louise Butcher and Ronda Slauenwhite.
