The Oakfield Senior Citizens gathered at the Smoki-Haulers snowmobile clubhouse in Oakfield for their second meeting of May 2015, with 26 members attending.
An extra table had to be set up to accommodate all of the wonderful dishes that were brought for the luncheon. Sharon Anderson was the winner of the 50/50 raffle.
The business meeting was opened with the Lord’s Prayer and Flag Salute. Secretary, treasurer and card reports were all accepted as read.
A couple of humorous readings were enjoyed by all.
David Burpee then entertained the group with several country music selections and some members danced along with the music.
The Oakfield Senior Citizens meet on the first and third Wednesdays of each month, with time to visit with friends and neighbors before the 11:30 luncheon, which is followed by a short business meeting and entertainment. To join or for more information, call Delores Locke at 757-8478.
