    PRESQUE ISLE – Wilfred J. Ouellette, 87, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, May 19, 2015, at Cary Medical Center in Caribou. He was born on July 19, 1927, in Westfield, to Alexander and Leatha Ouellette.
    He served in the U.S. Navy. Wilfred worked in construction most of his life, most recently working for Buck Construction Co. 
    He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Geraldine (Hotham) Ouellette; two sons and their wives, Wilfred Jr. “Sam” and Cheri Ouellette, and Beecher and Bonnie Ouellette, all of Presque Isle; two daughters, Kathy Nichols and her husband, Danny of Fort Fairfield, and Cindy Ouellette of Presque Isle; a sister, Millie Dumais of Presque Isle; several grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
    A graveside service with military honors was held 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou, with Pastor Ronald Lapointe officiating.
