PRESQUE ISLE — The following cases were heard at the District Court in Presque Isle during the month of December 2014.
• Ismael Martinez, 59, Santa Ana, Calif.: rule violation, operated by unqualified driver, $250 fine.
• Benjamin M. McKenna, 21, Mapleton: hunting from stand or blind overlooking deer bait, $200 fine.
• Troy Elwood McLean, 41, Limestone: failing to stop for officer, $300 fine and 12 hours in jail; and driving to endanger, $575 fine and 30-day license suspension.
• Angel M. Montes, 27, Mars Hill: possession of marijuana, up to 1.25 oz., $350 fine.
• Ashley R. Nickerson, 22, Castle Hill: loaded firearm or crossbow in motor vehicle, $200 fine.
• Matthew J. Oakes, 27, Fort Fairfield: violating condition of release, $350 fine; and operating while license suspended or revoked, prior, $500 fine and 50 hours community service.
• Timothy Oxton, 44, Vinalhaven: loaded firearm or crossbow in motor vehicle, $200 fine.
• Darrel Pelletier, 67, Van Buren: loaded firearm or crossbow in motor vehicle, $200 fine.
• Glen E. Peterson Sr., 41, New Sweden: supervising junior hunter who violates law, $100 fine.
• Ezekiel M. Rogers, 36, Fort Fairfield: cruelty to animals, $500 fine.
• Grace M. Rowland, 19, Westfield: use of drug paraphernalia, $300 fine.
• Bart M. Stevens, 18, Presque Isle: minor consuming liquor, $200 fine.
• Brian Warren, 33, Garfield Plt.: using artificial light to illuminate wild animals, $250 fine.
• Lee J. Winship, 34, Presque Isle: burning prohibited material, $150 fine.
PRESQUE ISLE — The following cases were heard at the District Court in Presque Isle during the month of January.
• Kenneth L. Adams, 57, Fort Fairfield: operating while license suspended or revoked, prior, $500 fine.
• Robert Lee Argraves Sr., 75, Fort Fairfield; failing to register vehicle, $100 fine.
• Felix J. Bautista, 25, Presque Isle: theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, 48 hours in jail and $114.76 restitution; and possession of marijuana, up to 1.25 oz., $600 fine.
• Dustin Hollis Bean, 25, Washburn: possession of marijuana, up to 1.25 oz., $550 fine.
• Mackenzie M. Belanger, 20, Portage Lake: hunting without valid license, $150 fine; and discharging firearm or crossbow near dwelling, $200 fine.
• Taylor Boxwell, 19, Wade: terrorizing, $250 fine.
• Brandon Lewelynn Parker Boyd, 31, Mars Hill: assault, $750 fine.
