In the spirit of community collaboration and teamwork taught through youth sports, Carroll’s Auto Sales is supporting the Presque Isle Recreation and Parks Department’s baseball and softball program through the Chevy Youth Baseball program.

This sponsorship includes both monetary and equipment donations during the upcoming youth summer season.
“Recreation departments big and small need all the help they can possibly get no matter if it’s monetary donations, supplies or volunteer help,” said Brad Boyles, programmer for the local recreation department. “We are greatly appreciative of the help [Carroll’s Auto Sales] have been throughout the years in not only baseball and softball but for all of our programs.”
Chevy Youth Baseball is a grassroots initiative that establishes a positive relationship between local dealers and the communities they serve. Carroll’s Auto Sales is sponsoring the recreation department as a part of Chevrolet’s nationwide commitment to support youth sports, one community at a time. Over the course of the season, the Presque Isle-based dealership will donate equipment to the league, including equipment bags, baseballs, softballs, catcher’s gear, batting helmets, ball buckets, umpire’s equipment, coach’s kits, break-away bases, bat racks, batting tees and first aid kits.
“We are looking forward to a great season with Presque Isle Recreation and Parks Department that will be filled with exciting games and an enhanced experience for the teams through the equipment and cash donations,” said Carroll’s Auto Sales owner Kirk Carroll. “Chevy Youth Baseball is just one example of how committed our dealership is to supporting the youth and families in our community.”
This years’s program will provide assistance to approximately 300 organizations in the Northeast region and Chevrolet dealers will contribute over $450,000 in monetary and equipment donations.
