LECANTO, FL – Victor J. Screnock, age 63, passed away May 25, 2015, at the HPH Hospice House in Lecanto, FL. He was born on September 18, 1951, in Bastrop, LA, to Thomas Mark and Helen Dorothy (Bundy) Screnock.
Victor moved to Citrus County nine years ago from Presque Isle, Maine. He was a retired potato broker and a Vietnam veteran, having served in the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Laurie Ann Screnock; four children, Robert Langley, Roger Langley, Shane Screnock, and April Screnock; six grandchildren; special mother-in-law, Betty Henderson; sister-in-law, Lona Henderson; two nephews, Kenny and Troy Shaw; his aunt, Emily; cousin, Patty; uncle, George; aunt, Frannie; and his three cousins, Glenn, Dennis, and Allan. He’ll be missed by family and close friends, Raymond Saucier Sr. and Dave Murphy.
Full military honors were performed by the American Legion Post #155 of Crystal River, FL at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2015, at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. Arrangements by Brown Funeral Home, Lecanto, FL.
