PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The SAD 1 athletic department will offer its annual basketball camp later this month.
The Wildcat Basketball Camp will be held June 15-19 at Presque Isle High School and is for students currently in grades 2-7. Varsity coaches Terry Cummings and Jeff Hudson will serve as co-directors. Their staff will include other coaches and current and former Wildcat players.
Those in grades 2-4 will play from 5-7 p.m. each day, with grades 5-7 going from 7-9 p.m.
The cost is $50 per student, with discounts given to families with two or more players.
Fundamentals in all phases of the game will be stressed. There will be drills, individual competitions and team games. The emphasis will be on sportsmanship and having fun while learning the game.
