ISLAND FALLS – Phyllis L. Drew, 87, went to be with her Lord on June 1, 2015, in Houlton. She was born January 5, 1928, in Island Falls, the daughter of Eursal and Eva (Lee) Dunphy.
She was a very devoted member of the Bethel Pentacostal Church of Oakfield.
Phyllis is survived by six children, Dennis and Becky Drew, Sheila and Ray Faulkner and Dianne and Cecil Given of Island Falls, Wallace and Sharon Drew of Dyer Brook, Paul and Donna Drew of Arizona and Robert E. and Krista Drew of Houlton; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Leon “Bud” and Robert of Island Falls; a sister, Jane “Babes” of Vermont. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Robert H.; two children, Charlotte and Debra Grant; a great-granddaughter, Lillie; brother, David; and two sisters, Sharon Dubois and Mary Roberts.
Friends may call Thursday, June 4 from 11-1 p.m. at the Bethel Pentacostal Church in Oakfield with funeral services at 1 p.m. with Reverend Sterling Lawrence and interment at Dyer Brook Cemetery.
