CARY PLANTATION – Terrance “Terry” Anderson, 91, died May 14, 2015, in Houlton surrounded by his family. He was born December 8, 1923, in Providence RI, the son of Donald and Althyn (Oliver) Anderson.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during WW II receiving the Purple Heart during the Italian Campaign on the Gulf of Salerno. He retired from the Bangor and Aroostook Railroad in 1972.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Gloria (Devine) Anderson, of Cary Plantation; his daughter, Susan Sellers and her husband, Mark of Naples, Italy; a daughter-in-law, Shirley A. Dunn of Phoenix, AZ; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two nephews, Brian Wiggin, AL, and Jeffrey Wiggin, MD. He was predeceased by his parents; a son, Darryl Dunn, in January 2014; and a sister, Mavis Wiggin.
